A preview from yesterday’s awesome engagement shoot…. more to come!

Sweet Callie won 1st place in the contest we held on our facebook page (become a “fan” of us if you haven’t already!) back in January. She’s graduated highschool, and has started out on a new phase of her life this week…. College!!! You’re going to do great Callie! Keep striving to honor the Lord…..
This is Jessica.
She is one of my best friends.
We became friends during our pre-teen years.
We shared a love for American Girl Dolls…
Then horses…
We also went though a tom boy stage… oh dear me. I’ll spare you the details.
The sleepovers where we’d wake our parents up from laughing so hard.. good times.
And we are still friends! Great friends …
We may or may not still do some of the things we did when we were little… ( I’ll keep you wondering) but I’m so greatful God decided to save us both. We pray for eachother and encourage each other in the Lord. Love you girl!
Enjoy her pics…

Hey there! Today’s post is of another friend of mine, and her little sweet heart of a son. I love photographing my friends… but I think its pretty cool to make friends while your photographing! Sarah-Kate and I had known of each other for a while, but had never really formally met each other until this year. Its been a blessing forming friendship with Sarah and her family.
Don’t miss the emotion behind these pictures. These two no doubt big buddies.
I’d like to introduce a very special friend of mine – he’s that handsom fellow below, and his name is Zachary.
A friend that impacts your walk with Christ for the better, is priceless 100 times over. I am so very appreciative to Christ for choosing to bring this young man into my life. He’s been such an encouragement, and a blessing. Its been a privilege to have him as my friend.
“As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. ” Proverbs 27:17 (NKJV)

These are the moments that remind me this job is totally and completely worth it. Being able to freeze a moment like this forever… Its actually a privilege. All the blistering hot days, and the hours of editing are nothing in comparison to knowing that I’ve captured something that will showcase their young love to their great-grandchildren. They were not there for this, but I hope this is second best to the real thing. Whether time, or distance separates us from being able to see moments like this in person – of people we love that love each-other – there are always pictures. Can I use this common saying? Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words. I’m so glad I’m in this business.

I had to include this one. Ivy’s Daddy asked her what she wanted for Christmas…. can you see the wheels turning?

Thanks guys… I had a wonderful time.

Claire was a hoot – and decided she was going to lean waaaaaayyy back…..

And she KNOWS she’s a stinker!

This shoot was definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for a great shoot guys – y’all are awesome!
One Friday morning I had the privilege of meeting Ivy. I came fully expecting a shy subject for that day, but immediately after meeting her she invited me to come play on the playset with her. I received the name “Brootney” – she told me I was her best friend – and to “not go away again..” (in a lecturing voice like I had done it before). The whole shoot she was urging me to “Come on! You can do it!!!” – fully expecting me to be scared to go down the big slide and climb the rock wall. She’s so supportive! Needless to say, I enjoyed photographing this sweetheart. Thanks for being my friend Ivy.
